In Novembers issue of Kitchen Garden Magazine, several Sarpo varieties were tested against a number of others.  The great news is that Sarpo Mira has come out as the top tasting spud of them all.  What is unusual is that Axona did not score the same even though it is from the same stable but generally easier for gardeners to grow.
